Commentary

A floor-type speaker system developed in pursuit of realism in playback music.

The DS-50C/DS-50CS has been designed to increase the maximum output sound pressure level and improve the linearity of the input-to-output sound pressure characteristics. As a result, the DS-50C/DS-50CS achieves high efficiency, large allowable input, and wide dynamic range playback.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The cone paper has an effective corrugation, the edge uses coated Cross Edge, and the spider improves linearity, reduces distortion, and improves transients.
In addition, an alnico cast magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.

Equipped with 12 cm cone type skoker in the middle area.
This unit has developed and adopted a roll-shaped perforated spider that improves straightness and provides crisp and clear sound quality. In addition, the edge is coated with Cross Edge to provide a suspension with excellent characteristics.

A 2.3 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
It is designed without a diffuser for dynamic sound reproduction with good response to a pulsed signal. In addition, high-pressure pressed pulp and paper diaphragm and rolling resistant edge part are used to realize smooth high sound up to the high end.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system based on acoustic theory.

The DS-50C is a white enclosure and the DS-50CS is an Indian Rosewood finish.
