This speaker system further reduces distortion by introducing new technology based on the DS-35B.

The low-distortion magnetic circuit used in the DS-35B is used for the magnetic circuit of Woofer and Skoker.
In this magnetic circuit, a special magnetic alloy material with excellent linearity of magnetization characteristics developed by a metallurgical engineering approach is installed in the vicinity of the magnetic pole gap. This reduces the nonlinear distortion of the drive system generated by the magnetic circuit to less than 1/10 compared with conventional speakers.

The DS-35BmkII employs a low-distortion network circuit to further reduce distortion and improve sound quality.
This circuit has been fully examined from the materials of the coil and condenser to the circuit configuration through physical and hearing tests. By adopting a laminated core, the L element considering DC resistance is used, and by using a condenser which has been examined for sound quality, distortion is reduced.

A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The cone paper of this unit has been processed by a new method of vacuum molding (a method of molding using vacuum) that does not lose the composition of the fiber, and it also contains thick corrugation. The cone paper pressed by the vacuum molding method has an appropriate internal loss and sufficient strength because the fibers are bonded together without being damaged in a natural state. It also has durability that can withstand a large input.
In addition, a newly designed octagonal die-cast frame has been adopted for the frame and the edges have also been improved.

The mid-range is equipped with a 10 cm cone type squaker.
Polyester resin film is used for the edge part. Special damping treatment is applied to control the characteristics. This improves the start-up characteristics and response to a pulsed signal, and prevents the corn paper from being distorted by preventing it from being swayed or twisted.
A strong die-cast frame is used for the frame, and a straight tapered shape is used for the flange part to solve the characteristic disturbance caused by reflection.

A 3-cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic), which is light and highly rigid, to suppress split vibration. In addition, it has moderate internal loss, so natural vibration is less likely to occur and smooth high-frequency characteristics are obtained.
In addition, the edge of the tweeter has been specially processed to suppress the squeal at the edge.

The mid-range and high-range are equipped with four adjustable level controls.

The enclosure uses a symmetrical unit layout to improve sound image localization.
The internal structure is of a distributed resonance type, and vibration is suppressed by a strong joint structure and a special distributed reinforcing bar, and box ringing phenomenon is suppressed by dispersing resonance mode.
