DIATONE DS-32C
¥ 73,000 (1 unit, released in 1968)
Commentary
This is a floor-type speaker system for the first Diatone lineup released in 1968.
This is where the Diatone DS series started.
The DS-32C is a home-use version of the 2S 305 monitor speaker.
A 30 cm cone type woofer, PW 125 c, is mounted in the low range.
The unit is double-edged, with a wide cone paper edge to prevent mid-range valleys, and is designed for 2-way use and does not require a network as the high frequencies are attenuated at -12dB/oct.
The TW-25C, a 5 cm cone tweeter, is mounted in the high range.
This unit uses iron-cobalt-vanadium alloys (2 VPermender) to achieve high effective air gap flux density.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex method and the exterior is made of Eurasian cheek material.
In addition, the front cover RUNNET can be removed.
