Commentary

This is a stereo power amplifier that can maintain continuous power of 300W + 300W for 2/4/8 Ω load with a unique output transformer and can supply a large current exceeding 85A at peak.

Common mode noise and distortion factor are reduced to almost unmeasurable levels by the balance circuit of all stages complimentary service.

In addition to the power guard system which automatically reduces the gain when the distortion exceeds the specified amount, it is equipped with multi-protection such as turn-on delay when the power is turned on, automatic recovery type thermal cutoff, and sentry monitor which continuously monitors the output current.

It uses a gold-plated output terminal that can handle very thick speaker cables.

The rear panel is equipped with an independent and continuously variable input level control volume.
Also, the click position is set to 2.5 v which is the best match with the control center of Macintosh.

Both balanced and unbalanced inputs are supported.

It can be used as a high-power monaural power amplifier with balance operation and bridge operation.

Equipped with a Blue Eyes Power Meter. This meter calculates and displays the actual output power, which is the product of output voltage and current. In addition, this meter has a high-speed response that is approximately 10 times faster than that of a commercial VU meter, making it possible to accurately grasp the operating power of the amplifier.
Peak hold display is available by switching the switch on the front panel.

It is equipped with a power control in / out terminal that enables power linkage control with other Macintosh components.
