A D/A converter that achieves excellent D/A conversion close to the sound of the master tape itself by polishing the perfection of all circuits of the digital part, analog part and power supply part.
The main body contains independent analog circuits on both sides of the tower and digital circuits in the center, ensuring the optimum distance for signal transmission between the two, and complete electrical, mechanical, and thermal separation.
The digital section uses a unique digital audio interface receiver (DAIR) that automatically selects three PLL circuits with different matching ranges according to the sampling frequency for the DIR that locks to the input signal, and an 8 x over-sampling type for the subsequent digital filter.
The D/A converter features a custom-made 20-bit D/A converter for both the left and right sides. It uses a unique DRDAC (dual reference D/A converter) that separates and processes the digital signal for both the plus and minus sides, and maintains the operation up to the analog outputs. This realizes resolution comparable to that of professional 20-bit AES/EBU.
The analog filter is equipped with a Bessel tuning type that uses the latest current amplification op-amp for the feedback loop, and achieves accurate and stable filter characteristics with high-speed operation exceeding that of general voltage op-amp.
A Teflon substrate with excellent electrical characteristics is used for the base and analog circuit of the DAC body, giving consideration to the pure transmission of music signals.
We have developed a fully separate power supply PLS-330L that incorporates three independent power supply circuits for digital circuits and both channel and analog circuits. Three cables supply DC power to each circuit.
We have also adopted carefully selected parts such as toroidal transformers and condensers, and combined them with newly developed stabilizing circuits and circuit layouts to prevent induction noise from AC lines to form a high-quality power supply.
The input jacks are equipped with a total of eight inputs : Line 5 balanced input compatible with 20-bit AES/EBU standard for professionals, two optical inputs compatible with Tosrin, and one optical input compatible with ST-standard.
As output terminals, two balanced and one unbalanced type for each channel, one coaxial type and one optical type for digital output.
