Commentary
A stereo power amplifier that condenses the performance of the monaural power amplifier No20L.
A high-pass filter and anti-buzz circuit are used in the left and right independent power supply sections to prevent high-frequency noise and asymmetric current contained in the AC line. The transformer is equipped with a 1200 VA rated toroidal transformer independently on the left and right.
Class AB operation is adopted for the output stage. It operates in Class A at the normal output level, and the distortion is reduced by shifting to Class B at large output.
A large-capacity filter condenser and a power transistor are directly connected to the output stage using a oxygen-free copper bus bar, and a triple bypass with a high-quality condenser is used to make the power source more pure.
A two stage differential cascode circuit and a stabilized power supply are used for the voltage amplifier and driver stage.
Balance input is also supported.
Bridge connection is possible, and it can also be used as a monaural amplifier.
