Marantz Laboratory challenged the limits of the bookshelf type speaker system.
A 30 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A newly developed large ferrite magnet is used for the magnetic circuit.
The mid-range is equipped with a 12.5 cm cone type mid-range.
A 6.5 cm cone type tweeter is installed in the high range.
Newly improved cone paper is used for the diaphragm.
Level control is provided for the middle and high frequencies.
The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
A 20 mm thick Homogen board is used for the plate material.
The exterior has a metallic gray finish.
