Commentary
CD transport released as a CD drive unit to be combined with pre-main amplifier PM-95 equipped with D/A converter.
The mechanism section uses the unique CDM-1 drive mechanism that is used in the LHH2000 and other representative models. The swing arm supporting the pickup section has a structure in contrast to the normal linear tracking system, and is a dynamic balance type with weights placed at the rear.
The drive section uses a linear motor for smooth operation, and the pickup section uses a single-beam system with low aberration and excellent temperature characteristics.
The servo circuit is equipped with a newly developed automatic servo switching circuit. The sensor detects the size of 12 cm CD and 8 cm CD and automatically switches the servo circuit inside the motor.
The power supply uses a toroidal transformer to smoothly supply power to the servo circuit and servo circuit and reduce the power impedance of the digital circuit.
High-rigidity die-cast is used for the chassis, 3-mm-thick steel plate is used for the bottom plate, and die-cast is used for the side panel to eliminate resonance.
In addition, a unique ARC (Aluminum Raft Celing) structure is adopted for the top cover, and a 3-piece structure with a raft cut increases strength and diffuses vibration modes to prevent resonance.
It is equipped with a CD file bank FTS that allows you to select and store your favorite tracks. This makes it possible to file semi-permanently once it is stored.
