¥ 200,000 (released in 1994)
Commentary
A CD player of the Music Link series aimed at the music reproduction capability of high-quality pure audio itself in spite of the minimum necessary size.
The mechanism uses CDM-9Pro, a single-beam swing-arm mechanism that is reliable for high trace accuracy.
The D/A converter uses a bit stream type DAC7.
The analog section uses a total of two New HDAM, which is an improved version of Marantz's original HDAM, and achieves high slew rate and S/N. New HDAM uses four layers instead of two layers shielded by a copper plating case to improve circuit speed, stability, and S/N.
A toroidal power transformer is used for the power supply section.
The disk is installed in a top-loading system and has a unique silhouette using a manual operation glass lid and an independent clamper.
