A passive attenuator that directly demonstrates the capabilities of a CD player without any power source or amplifying circuit.

The Attenuator section uses a resistance selection type that switches between two resistors in parallel and in parallel. The accuracy is kept constant regardless of the position of the volume, so it is effective for maintaining sound quality especially at low volume.
In addition, the silver-plated contact uses a knife-edge type with self-cleaning action to minimize contact failure due to aging.

The selector part uses a 2-stage 4-circuit 4-contact / 6-contact selector developed for weak current.
This selector has excellent contact resistance, electrical characteristics, rotational life, stability, and switching feel. The contacts have a dust-proof case and are gold-plated with silver alloy. The point side contacts are also thick-plated with silver and gold-plated with oxygen-free copper.

The chassis of the main body is plated with copper to prevent mixing of high frequency noise.
In addition, vibration control performance is improved by using front panel made of 8 mm thick aluminum material, top panel of 3 mm thick, and die cast side panel with mat finish by special coating.

There were 2 types, gold model and black model.
