Commentary
The gold version of the D/A converter unit CDA-94, which was completed by the CD developer Phillips Marantz group by gathering all of the technology, is a limited model which is more complete.
The D/A converter uses TDA1541 of 16-bit 4-times oversampling L/R-independent 2 dac.
Supports all sampling frequencies of 44.1 khz, 48 khz and 32 khz, and locks automatically.
In addition to two 75 Ω coaxial digital input systems, an optical input system using optical fiber and photo-coupler is mounted.
The power supply section, digital section, D/A conversion section and analog section are completely separated to eliminate interference and noise from each circuit. At the same time, the three completely independent power supply sections support high sound quality.
In order to increase the weight and rigidity of the entire body and eliminate the sound quality caused by vibration, we have adopted a 3-mm-thick bottom plate and a large insulator filled with Portland cement.
It is equipped with a balanced output by an output transformer which inherits the concept of LHH2000.
