AD-6
Commentary

An electronic crossover network for multi-amplifier systems.

The basic configuration consists of a high-pass filter (HPF) and a low-pass filter (LPF) that divide the stereo signal into a low-pass output and a high-pass output. The HPF and LPF can independently select an 11-point cutoff frequency.

The slope characteristics can be switched between 6dB/oct and 12dB/oct.

Equipped with an ultra-low center channel output dedicated to 3D systems.

The level of each output signal can be adjusted from 0 to - ∞.

It is basically a 2-way + 3D configuration, but the HPF and LPF are connected in series by switching the switch on the front panel, and it also functions as a band pass filter (BPF). By connecting two or three AD-6s, it is possible to develop into a multi-system such as 3-way or 4-way + subwoofer.

The circuit is based on a configuration in which a low-noise wide-band buffer amplifier is placed at the front and rear, and a filter circuit with high-precision resistors and capacitors is placed between them to achieve low-distortion characteristics.
