Commentary
A control amplifier with a symmetrical design, polished sound quality and various functions.
The full push-pull configuration is applied to all stages from MC head amplifier to flat amplifier, and the Low-TIM design eliminates dynamic strain such as transient intermodulation strain by improving bare characteristics and reducing NFB.
The MC head amplifier consists of a complete push-pull circuit consisting of nine single-channel channels from the first stage of the ultra-low noise transistor 2 parallel push-pull to the SEPP output stage.
In addition, the phono amplifier has a complete push-pull circuit configuration that is affected by input / output impedance fluctuations, and the equalizer element has a metal-coated resistor within 1% error and a polypropylene capacitor within 2% error.
The flat amplifier is a pure class A amplifier with a unique push-pull circuit for all stages.
Especially in the last stage, super high fT(200 ~ 250 MHz) Uses a two stage Darlington system with power transistors.
The Phono selector is equipped with a 3-position MM cartridge load selector in addition to the MC head amp position.
Features include independent left and right tone control, two deck dubbing, two stage switching loudness control, two output switching, and both High and EQ Subsonic filters.
Various improvements have been made to improve sound quality, such as the Tone switch, which can be simplified by completely bypassing the tone amplifier, the printed circuit board with the copper-foil thickness of 70 μ m, double the usual thickness, the signal path with reduced signal loss through the use of oxygen-free copper wires and coaxial cords, the low-magnification foil-capacitor with reduced power impedance, the copper-plated chassis that eliminates distortion caused by magnetic loops, and the 15A power cord.
