Commentary
Control amplifier that uses Low-TIM construction.
The complete push-pull DC configuration of all stages by Low-TIM construction drives the dynamic characteristic distortion which does not appear in the data to the limit, and sends a beautiful signal to the power amplifier.
For disc playback with low output voltage, special emphasis is placed on the choice of material for the phono amplifier, which has been tested by measurement and ear test. Its characteristics are as follows : 0.005% or less at minimum guaranteed total harmonic distortion rate, 0.003% or less intermodulation distortion rate, and 86 dB S/N ratio.
In addition, the built-in head amplifier has a DC configuration with low-noise FET at the first stage and uses transistors as large as 13 single-channel transistors.
The tone control circuit, which is essential for sound field correction in the listening room, is independent on the left and right sides so that a more critical balance can be achieved.
In addition, the tone circuit is equipped with a defeat switch so that the circuit can be simplified by jumping when it is not necessary, enabling higher fidelity playback. The tone circuit is also equipped with a loudness control so that you can choose between 2 points, + 8 dB or + 4 dB, depending on the volume.
In addition to the ash filter that cuts the hissing of the tape, the filter is equipped with a subsonic circuit that reduces the fluctuation of the speaker that occurs when the record is played back.
The phono1 is equipped with a 3-position (27k Ω, 47k Ω, 100k Ω) cartridge load selector to accurately match the impedance between the MM type cartridge and amplifier, allowing for more faithful disc playback.
Two tape decks can be connected at the same time. Moreover, the dubbing switch enables mutual recording between decks.
Equipped with an output switch that can listen to and compare two power amplifiers or play simultaneously.
Headphone jack with built-in genuine A-class 0.5W dedicated amplifier.
A gold-plated input / output terminal that prevents deterioration of sound quality from the contact.
