Commentary
This pre-main amplifier inherits the design philosophy and advanced circuit technology of the PM14SA and PM-17SA, and is designed for next-generation audio.
The pre-power independent configuration brings out the regenerative capability of the current feedback type preamplifier.
The preamplifier section uses a current feedback type preamplifier with high drive capability and low noise / high slew rate, ensuring high speed and dynamic range for next-generation audio.
In addition, the pre-out terminal is mounted, and bi-amplifier drive is also possible in cooperation with SM6100SA.
A current feedback type is also used in the power amplifier section to increase the speed.
Power devices use L, A, P, and T with superior high-frequency characteristics.
A speaker terminal made by WBT is adopted for the speaker terminal, and banana plug and Y lug are also supported.
The Rec out output from the CD has a dedicated Rec buffer amplifier.
Equipped with a CD direct input that is directly connected from the input to the preamplifier section via a dedicated relay.
Equipped with tone control and loudness.
An inlet type AC cable is used.
It comes with a system remote control and can also operate Marantz DVD players, MD recorders and CD recorders.
