Commentary
This pre-main amplifier has been developed by incorporating as much as possible the technology of the advanced equipment.
The pre-amplifier, power amplifier and tone control amplifier are separated as in the case of the high-grade model.
In particular, the power amplifier achieves high class performance by making it a completely discrete type, and the tone control amplifier section uses the well-established active filter type and achieves excellent flat characteristics at the center level.
In addition, an input buffer circuit using the same method as the PM-15S1 is incorporated to improve S/N and channel separation.
Sound quality is improved by tuning the ground processing.
The ground point of the headphone output is divided into two parts, one under the circuit and the other near the headphone jack on the front panel. The ground of the volume board is made into L/R independent wiring to improve crosstalk.
In addition, the communication and control wiring from the microcomputer and the power wiring are optimized so that they do not adversely affect the music signal.
A phono equalizer is built in for MM cartridges.
Equipped with a tone defeat switch, you can bypass the tone circuit with one touch operation.
The use of aluminum for the front panel, volume and input selector gives it a luxurious feel, and also contributes to stable reproduction by improving rigidity.

Equipped with a full REC selector, you can record on the back of a CD or tuner tape decks.
