Commentary

This pre-main amplifier was developed by inheriting the design concept of the digital amplifier completed by PM-84/PM-94.

The PM-54D achieves good linearity at low output power by reducing distortion and noise in the entire power range without increasing output power unnecessarily.
In addition, we pay attention to the quality of the speaker at low impedance and take thorough measures for low impedance, mainly by strengthening the power supply section, to ensure sufficient power even if the speaker momentarily fluctuates to a low value.

The high-level input stage where CD is input has a direct coupling configuration of low-noise FET to improve the SN ratio.

Equipped with a CD direct switch.
When this function is ON, the selector, balance volume, etc. will jump, and the input will be directly connected to the flat amplifier via the volume only, thereby minimizing the circuit and obtaining purer sound.

Equipped with MM/MC switching type phono input.

OFC is used for the main wiring and copper plating is used for the screw to improve sound quality.
