Commentary
This is a pre-main amplifier that inherits the Super Audio (next-generation digital audio such as SACD and DVD Audio) technology introduced in the PM-14SA and uses the PM-17 as an SA.
A current feedback type is used for both the power amplifier and the preamplifier.
The basic design inherits almost all of the capabilities of the PM-17. It employs a unique voltage amplification module "Adjustable HDAM" and twin monaural construction.
Equipped with a warm-up meter that can check the heat-up state.
A speaker terminal made by WBT of Germany is adopted, and it is surely compatible with various terminal shapes (Y lug, stick type, banana plug, etc.).
Built-in pre-out and power-in terminals.
Equipped with a source direct switch.
The power supply is equipped with a super-ring core and toroidal transformer.
Equipped with Full Rec Selector.
Equipped with a phono amplifier for MM/MC.
The case structure uses a highly rigid body structure that uses aluminum.
An inlet type AC cable is used.
Aluminum top system remote controller is included.
