Model8B Replica
Commentary

This monaural power amplifier is a faithful reproduction of Marantz's famous Model9.

North Carolina factory is in charge of production by the operation of marantz USA Inc. in Chicago in order to reproduce famous items of the past.

Parts that cannot be obtained, such as oil tubular capacitors and selenium rectifiers, or parts that must be changed due to changes in safety standards, are selected from available parts. Parts that can be restored are newly created, and the original structure, kumikata, and wiring method are adhered to. This approach is closer to the original.

The changed point is that the power cable is an inlet type, the AC primary circumference is a product approved by the safety standards of each country, and the power transformer is a thermal fuse.
Also, the Model8B replica adds a power switch and changes the speaker terminal.

The vacuum tubes used are carefully selected from GE and Golden Dragon.

The circuit is the same including constants except for the input buffer and the OPT secondary adjustment resistor.
