Commentary
Stereo power amplifier with all-solid state design.
The circuit uses a direct-junction Complimeary symmetry circuit similar to the push-pull circuit of a vacuum tube amplifier.
The plus and minus signals of the signal are amplified separately and combined again at the end.
The crossover notch, which is often seen in transistor amplifiers, realize flat characteristics and good start-up.
A large heat sink is mounted as a countermeasure against heat generated by the output transistor.
Built-in VOD (Variable Overlap Drive) circuit protects against transistor and speaker damage.
This circuit uses a current-limiting circuit and a transistor double-protection circuit to ensure stable operation under any load condition.
Equipped with a protective circuit by relay operation.
This circuit operates when very high levels of frequencies up to 8 Hz are applied to the input of the amplifier, preventing damage to the output transistor, power supply and speakers. In addition, this device acts as a time delay device when the amplifier is switched on, stabilizing the circuit and preventing high-level output waves from damaging the speakers. When the output transistor is damaged, a relay also operates to prevent damage due to direct current being applied to the speakers.
Equipped with a current limiting circuit, it is limited to approximately 1.25 times of the rated output.
