Commentary
Preamp with tuner that combines preamp and FM/AM tuner Model23J.
In addition to two phono inputs, it is equipped with functions such as a tape monitor switch and a low / high cut filter.
It has a headphone port.
Marantz's unique gyro-touch tuning allows smooth channel selection by directly turning the flywheel.
A 2-meter configuration consisting of a signal strength meter and a center tuning / multipath meter is used for accurate channel selection.
The multipath meter indicates multipath distortion caused by improper antenna orientation.
With a tape recorder dubbing jack on the front, you can quickly connect a second tape recorder or tape deck from the front.
It is equipped with an inter-station muting circuit to suppress noise when selecting FM channels.
FET and IC are used for the tuner section, and FET is used for the phono preamplifier section to improve stability.
The AM tuner section is designed with an emphasis on high selectivity.
The wood cabinet was sold as an option sold separately.
