The planar type speaker system which attained the miniaturization without inheriting the design concept of greatest loudspeaker HS-10000 in the history of Lo-D announced in Showa 53, and spoiling a property as much as possible.

In order to suppress disorder of the frequency characteristic by the diaphragm hollow effect, the foaming resin filling planar diaphragm is adopted.
Furthermore, have arranged the loudspeaker unit on the same circumference and the settlement of a voice source was raised, and also the sequential 2-minute type network with a phase compensator which divides one input signal after another into two at a time was adopted, and the flat property is secured theoretically.

The large swing could be secured to a 25cm passive radiator, a 25cm Woofer, and a 5cm mid range, the gathered edge with high self-resonant frequency and the gathered spider are adopted as them by high compliance, and the fall of fo and the distorted reduction are aimed at.
Moreover, the Lo-D actuator (low-distortion magnetic circuit) is also carried in the Woofer and the mid range.

In order to obtain the bass extended to low-pass, the bass-reflex type enclosure with a passive radiator of the big internal volume 270L is adopted to a 25cm Woofer. Especially the bass reflex serves as a design which does not produce a peek in Qo=0.5 like HS-10000.
The board thickness of an enclosure adopts 30mm which pasted two 15mm thickness particle boards together, and is raising the intensity.

When the waveguide-plunger disk in an infinite baffle also becomes a wavelength shorter than diameter pi/root2, even when the property on a front-view axis is flat, the fall of radiant energy takes place by a canting of 20dB/sec.
Then, each loudspeaker unit is connected with the cross over frequency of ka=root2 (k:wave constant, a: semidiameter) which the fall of radiant energy does not start.
Furthermore, the small caliber tweeter of 2cm which was excellent in dispersibility is adopted as a high region.
