Commentary
This is a stereo pre-main amplifier developed with Lordi's technical capabilities, with the goal of creating an amplifier with comprehensive value.
The power amplifier uses an inverted Darlington pure complimentary service OCL circuit configuration with two stage constant-current drive emitters to achieve low distortion factor.
In addition, the parallel push-pull of the pair transistors with the same characteristics ensures good linearity of current characteristics, and the large capacity power supply realizes faithful transmission from small output to large output.
The equalizer stage has a 3-stage configuration with an FET differential amplifier in the first stage. It is driven by ± 2 power supply to obtain large dynamic margin and low distortion.
The tone control circuit uses the same 3-stage differential input amplifier as the equalizer circuit, and the final stage is an emitter follower with a constant current load to suppress the degradation of the SN ratio and the fluctuation of frequency characteristics depending on the tone position.
With this tone control, you can change the turnover frequency in three stages for both Bass and Treble, so that you can adjust the tone quality to your preference. In addition, you can obtain a flat frequency response with the tone defeat switch.
The volume uses a 22-contact switch type attenuator.
It is also equipped with an additive 3-stage gain selector.
Equipped with speaker B level adjustment.
The input level of Phono2 can be varied by 6 dB.
Equipped with electronic protection circuit.
Equipped with 2-stage switching type low filter and high filter.
Equipped with a mode switch and a loudness switch.
