Commentary
AM/FM tuner equipped with an accurate touch mechanism and CLL-type tuning system.
It is equipped with an accurate touch mechanism. When you turn the tuning knob at the normal speed, the knob locks with a sense of response and automatically catches the correct center point of the FM station. The lock is released after about one second and you can move to the next station.
When the frequency of the target FM station is far away, if you turn it early, it will not be locked. If you turn it slowly when you approach the target station, it will be locked there.
This feature can also be turned off with a single switch.
The center point can be detected accurately because it is obtained from the control voltage of LUX's unique CLL circuit which locks to the transmission frequency of the FM station itself.
The CLL tuning system locks the transmission frequency of the FM station itself, including the front-end / IF stage (intermediate frequency amplification stage) / detection stage, to ensure more reliable locking.
The capture range of the CLL circuit is set to a narrow range for high tuning accuracy.
The front-end is equipped with a MOS FET structure with excellent input resistance characteristics. The IF stage is equipped with a ceramic filter with excellent group delay characteristics that combines low distortion rate and high selectivity. The detection stage is equipped with Kado Racea detection that provides low distortion and high SN over a wide band. The detection stage is equipped with a stereo demodulation that employs a PLL IC with high separation characteristics. The circuit structure emphasizes basic performance.
It is equipped with functions such as a test tone circuit for recording, an FM muting circuit and switching between near ground and long distance reception.
