Commentary

This is a speaker system using aramid fiber that was developed over five years starting from the development of each unit.

A 20 cm cone type woofer, C2038K is mounted in the low range.
The diaphragm of this unit uses aramid fiber plastic cone made of two or more kinds of composite materials. The braided material (aramid fiber) is subjected to chemical treatment and then heat-molded to produce a lightweight and highly rigid diaphragm. The damper is also made of the same material as the cone, providing excellent tracking, response, and control capability.
The edge is made of polyurethane foam in consideration of transient characteristics to achieve high compliance and low fo.
In addition, a bar-arm type aluminum die-cast is used for the frame, and ventilation holes are made to reduce air strain generated behind the damper.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter, D2501F, is mounted in the high range.
A dome-shaped diaphragm made of polyester film as the base is used for the diaphragm. By using the same plastic material as the low-frequency unit, the sound connection is made smoother.
In addition, a large ferrite magnet with an outer diameter of 70 mm, an inner diameter of 36 mm and a thickness of 30 mm is used for the magnet, ensuring a magnetic flux density of 11,000 gauss. In addition, a large power handling and capacity are obtained by using Nomex for the bobbin material.

Both the low-pass and high-pass sides of the network section are designed to be -18dB/oct. In addition, the network section is designed to be driven according to the rate of change of each unit for ideal operation as a filter. A compensation circuit is also provided to reduce interference between units to prevent masking effects near the crossover frequency.
We use carefully selected materials, such as low-loss type coils with low DC resistance and metalized film type capacitors.

The enclosure is designed using a multi-vent tuning method. Based on a sealed enclosure, several small holes are made in the rear of the box to reduce the air pressure in the box to an appropriate level. This method has the advantages of a sealed system and a bass-ref system. This eliminates excessive pressure on the cone and provides excellent characteristics.
ハイダンプド rigid particle board is used for the material, and super seal (foamed sound absorbing material containing visco-elastic material), which has high sound absorption effect and can effectively suppress vibration of the particle board, is attached inside to reduce unnecessary radiation from the enclosure.

The speaker terminal uses a highly reliable and easy-to-use lead-insertion terminal.
