Commentary
A 3-head cassette deck.
A 3-head system has been adopted for the head section, and a dedicated head is installed for each of recording, reproduction and erasing.
In the 3-head system, the design can be pursued according to the application of each head, and basic characteristics such as frequency characteristics and dynamic range are improved. In the 3-head system, distortion is also reduced because it can be connected directly to a dedicated amplifier without passing through a read / write switch.
You can also use the playhead to simultaneously monitor the sound being recorded.
Equipped with a bias fine function, the optimum bias current can be finely adjusted according to the tape to be used.
Equipped with Dolby HX Pro to improve recording characteristics.
The Dolby HX Pro eliminates the bias level variation caused by the audio signal and always servocontrol to the optimum bias value. When music information contains a large amount of high-frequency components, the bias current is automatically reduced to achieve superior high-frequency characteristics. When music information contains a small amount of high-frequency components, the bias current is increased to reduce distortion, which works in real time to achieve high-quality recording.
A Dolby B/C is installed as a noise reduction system.
Equipped with a 4-digit electronic tape counter with FL tube display.
This counter can count approximately 2000 tapes in 60 minutes, giving you more control over where your tapes are being recorded.
In addition, a memory stop mechanism linked with a counter allows the tape to be rewound and automatically stopped at the point where it is set to 0.
By connecting an external timer, you can record and play back at the set time.
Connecting to the AV Surround Controller F-105 enables remote control of the entire system.
