Commentary
Vivid series quick reverse deck.
Equipped with Dolby HX Pro, it solves the same phenomenon as over-bias recording, which occurs when the ultra-high frequency component of the music source acts as recording bias.
In addition, Dolby B/C and dbx are installed as a noise reduction system to realize clearer and more extended sound.
It uses a computer control mechanism and is equipped with functions such as program search, intro-scan, blank search, blank skep, auto recording pause, etc.
The circuit design uses the S. T. A. R. circuit that is also used in the Brid series amplifier.
This method realizes a smooth flow of signals by completely eliminating the sharing of the feed line and ground line in the circuit.
Equipped with a bias fine function, it is possible to push the bias which is normally set to the standard value by manual adjustment.
The head section adopts a head rotation method, and by operating the same head for both forward and reverse, strict matching between the recording / re-amplifier and the head is possible.
The mechanism section is equipped with 2 motors + 1 assist motor, and by adopting independent capstan and pinch roller for forward and reverse, smooth and accurate tape travel is realized.
There are also separate azimuth adjusters for each direction, making head-touch of the tape in both directions more complete.
