A cassette deck equipped with GT transport and computer tuning.

GT transport is adopted for the mechanism part.
The GT Transport uses a dual capstan system, in which two pairs of capstan bearings and pinch roller bearings are integrally molded at high temperature and high pressure into a thick die cast alloy motor frame chassis. This ensures that the capstan shaft and pinch roller shaft are strictly perpendicular to the chassis, and that the shafts are perfectly parallel to each other.
In addition, the difference in peripheral speed between the two capstan shafts gives a stable tension to the tape, making the tape touch to the head more reliable.
In addition, the mechanism as a whole is designed to be robust, so that the vibration generated around the pinch roller is absorbed, and sound quality by stable tape running is ensured.

DD motor is used as the drive motor.
It is a 2 + 1 motor configuration that employs motors dedicated to each function for capstan, reel, and assist for lifting and lowering the head and driving the brake.

Equipped with CTS (Computer Tuning System) as auto-calibration function.
This function automatically adjusts the tape characteristics based on the best position determined from the correlation of the bias level and equalizer. It selects the tune mode that best matches the characteristics of the tape from among 1,048,576 combinations in approximately 20 seconds, and displays the entire process on the panel.

The head part uses a combination head.
A typical azimuth adjustment is to ensure that the head gap between the recording head and the reproducing head is exactly parallel to each other, but this is not sufficient, and it is essential that the head gap is positioned exactly the same relative to the tape on a three dimensional level, i.e., perpendicular and parallel orientation of the head relative to the moving tape, alignment of the orientation of both tracks, and head-base penetration.
By using a combination head, the head gap positions for recording and playback are very close, and the precise positional relationship can be fixed, making precise azimuth adjustment possible.

There were 2 types of wireless remote control and wired remote control which were sold separately as options.
