K-04
Commentary

Cassette deck equipped with manual calibration function.

It has a manual calibration function that allows you to adjust the bias level equalizer according to the characteristics of each tape.

GT transport is adopted for the mechanism part.
In this mechanism, two pairs of capstan bearings and pinch roller bearings are integrally molded on the motor frame chassis to ensure that the capstan and pinch roller axes are strictly perpendicular to the motor frame chassis and that they are perfectly parallel to each other.
In addition, the two capstan axes have a difference in peripheral speed to give tension to the tape, thereby achieving an appropriate tape touch to the head at all times.

The amplifier section is equipped with Luxman's unique amplifier technology.
In the K-04, the first stage amplifier has a DC configuration to improve sound transparency. In addition, a dedicated regulator is installed for each circuit block such as the recording system, the reproduction system, and the Dolby circuit. The power supply is supplied independently to eliminate signal current interference.

There were wireless remote control AK-20 and wired remote control AK-10 as options sold separately.
