D-600s
Commentary

A CD player with an HDCD decoder.

Equipped with an HDCD decoder, you can play HDCD.
When performing 8 x oversampling interpolation, the dither signal is given an energy distribution frequency characteristic that does not give a sense of incongruity to the music signal, and the lowest bit is interpolated, so that natural realism can be reproduced even during normal CD playback.

The D/A converter uses PCM1702, a 20-bit sign magnitude DAC, which eliminates the 0 cross distortion that is a disadvantage of multi-bit DAC.

With 8 x oversampling, the folded noise associated with the D/A conversion is distributed over 300 kHz, so the analog filter uses a third order Butterworth filter, which is low order and has little effect on sound quality.
In addition, in order to minimize adverse effects on sound quality, the filter element uses high-quality custom parts developed for the Luxman separate amplifier.

In the power supply section, the regulator circuit for each supply destination with different characteristics such as analog circuit and digital circuit is subdivided. In particular, the power supply to the analog section is designed to ensure sufficient current capacity.
In addition to using a sufficiently large power transformer, the windings are divided into four systems according to the application. By using know-how to prevent current interference such as STAR circuits, mutual interference via the power supply is prevented.

The drive mechanism has a built-in digital signal processing section for RF amplifier, EFM demodulation, error correction, etc. which amplifies the small signal of the laser pickup. The output is passed through the shield box and input to the nearest digital filter. The control microcomputer which controls the whole process is also placed right next to the digital filter right next to the digital filter. The j-value circuits are grouped into a small area. This increases the area of the digital circuit and prevents a large amount of noise from being radiated to the surrounding area.

A front loading system is adopted for the mechanism part.
In order to achieve stable top-loading operation while maintaining the operability of the front-loading system, the D-600s uses a high-density FRP resin tray with low resonance and moderate internal loss, and is mechanically fixed while the disc is rotating.
In addition, two channels pass through the center of the chassis to the front and back to stabilize the mechanism by forming a rigid structure that divides the interior of the chassis into three shielded compartments and virtually eliminates interference between the functional units contained in each compartment.

The D-600s tray is designed to apply a slight brake just before closing to enable smooth and reliable setting.
The transport section, including the tray section, has an isolated structure that blocks the influence of external light, making it possible to read signals with higher precision.

Uses custom parts developed independently by LUXMAN.

Not only the RCA pin terminal but also the balanced output XLR terminal is mounted on the output terminal.
The digital output is equipped with a coaxial RCA pin.

It has a headphone port.

System remote control is included.
This allows you to control the basic functions of the LUXMAN remote control amplifier and pre-main amplifier via the bus line.
