D-100
Commentary

This is a FLUCON size disc player developed as the second generation model of Luxman.

A 3-beam system is used for the pickup part.
In the 3-beam system, two sub-beams are mounted in addition to the main beam for reading signals, enabling more accurate tracing.

A tracking servo is used in the servo circuit, and by reading the tracking error of the main beam by the sub beam, even slight positional deviation can be accurately detected and corrected in real time.
As the sensitivity of the servo circuit is increased, it becomes more resistant to vibration and external shocks. However, it may detect even dirt or fine scratches on the disc that are unrelated to the music signal, which may cause malfunction. Therefore, the D-100 sets the servo gain corresponding to the variation from the information storage track, and sets the appropriate servo gain for each condition so that the appropriate servo operates under all conditions.

Luxman's original S. T. A. R. circuit is used for all analog signal circuits after the D/A converter.
In this method, the ground line and feed line to each circuit block are supplied directly to each point without sharing them, and the shared impedance of each circuit is completely eliminated.

In the D-100, the main clock is the clock of the D/A converter. The microcomputer clock and the system clock are synchronized by sending out the clock divided from the main clock. This prevents the beat phenomenon that occurs when multiple clocks are used.

The digital and analog power and analog systems prevent deterioration of sound quality due to high-frequency pulse components.

It is equipped with functions such as 16-track random memory, search monitor, and all tracks / program repeat.

Equipped with timer standby mechanism, alarm clock playback is possible by combining with a separately sold timer.

FL tube is used for the display.

Equipped with headphone volume.

The disk tray uses a touch sensor system, and the sensor operates by simply swinging it to the front of the CD tray without pressing the open / close button, and the tray is stored.

Wireless remote control is included.
