Commentary
A800 series MC head amplifier kit.
DC amplifier configuration is used.
A duo-beta circuit is used for the head amplifier circuit, and high sound quality is achieved by combining an appropriate NFB for the middle and high sound range and a DC servo for tightening the low frequency range.
The A809 also has a duo-beta circuit equalizer, which can be directly connected to a volumetric power amplifier.
It can also be used as a microphone amplifier.
In this case, it is necessary to raise the input impedance by remodeling, and the gate resistance of the first stage FET should be changed from 100 Ω to 47k Ω.
However, in this case, oscillation may occur depending on the wiring, and noise may be slightly deteriorated.
