E-06 α
Commentary

For pure reproduction of analog, this phono amplifier is thoroughly lavish and pursues uncompromising quality.

It is equipped with a total of four transformers for MC, one for each L/R, which were originally developed for two types of MC with different boosting ratios. The transformers are arranged in a loose layout to avoid mutual interference and improve sound quality.
This MC transformer was made by a designer who worked on many Luxman transformers. The MC transformer was completed after repeated characteristic checks and trial listening with the designer's own hand scrolls. The wire is made of PC-OCC, and the wire diameter, core material, method of stacking the cores, and shielding method are thoroughly examined.

The equalizer circuit is a CR type equalizer circuit that uses a flat amplifier for the input amplifier and output amplifier.
Because this method requires the quality and accuracy of CR parts, it has a more severe aspect than the NF type in terms of cost and SN ratio. n ratio. In order to solve this problem, the E-06 α has completely removed factors that hinder sound quality by completely reviewing the circuit. In addition to fundamentally improving the flat amplifier circuit, we have adopted a carefully selected CR element.

The power supply section consists of left and right separate transformers, and a constant voltage power supply circuit suitable for each of the pre-amplifier and post-amplifier is adopted.
This prevents the deterioration of sound quality that occurs when a common power supply is used between the equalizing CR circuit and each flat amplifier that handles signals with different phases before and after the equalization CR circuit.

PC-OCC is used as the wiring material, and high-purity 6N cables (purity 99.99997% Cu) are used at important points to ensure sound quality.

Based on the judgment that off-the-shelf parts do not provide the desired sound quality, custom-made parts are used everywhere with a sense of luxury.
In addition to the nitrogen gas sealed contact relay used in parallel for input switching, the bus bar to reduce the power source impedance, the first stage block with reinforced shield, the glass epoxy board with monolithic layout with L/R separation shield, non-magnetic chassis and rigid wooden cabinet to eliminate the influence of noise and vibration on the signal are adopted.
