Commentary
LUX's third transistor pre-main amplifier released after SQ77T and SQ301.
While the SQ77T and SQ301 are related to tube amplifiers, the SQ505 was developed with a head-on approach to transistors without being aware of tubes.
There is no difference except that the output is slightly smaller than SQ301 and some accessories (D. F switching, filter for 3D) are omitted. A quasi complimentary service SEPPP OTL circuit is used for the circuit.
Equipped with a low-boost switch, input impedance change-over switch, and attenuator switch.
