Commentary
Based on SQ606, SQ505, etc., this pre-main amplifier has been improved in consideration of the balance of performance, musical performance, style and usability.
The power amplifier uses the quasi complimentary service SEPPP OTL system.
By using a unique method, a protection circuit is omitted.
The preamplifier section receives a 2-stage direct-coupled NF-type equalizer circuit at the emitter-follower stage, converts the impedance, amplifies it to an appropriate level by an intermediate NF amplifier, and adjusts the sound quality by the LUX NF-type tone control.
A carefully selected low-noise transistor is used in this part.
Equipped with two speaker terminals.
The tone controls are independent on the left and right, and the attenuator switch can reduce the gain by 18 dB.
Since there is a tape monitor switch, simultaneous playback monitoring can be performed with a 3-head tape recorder, etc.
The entire panel and knobs are made of aluminum material with hairline processing and white gold anodized.
Also, the wood case is finished with rosewood.
