Commentary
This is a bulb-type pre-main amplifier that is the fourth generation of the SQ38 series.
50CA10 is used for the output tube, and OY15 type is used for the output transformer.
The main amplifier section is based on a Mulard type circuit. In order to make the best use of the features of this circuit, the distortion characteristics in the high-frequency range are improved by improving the details. Furthermore, by inserting a phase correction circuit, the instability of the amplifier caused by the attenuation of the load in the high-frequency range where the impedance of the speaker increases is eliminated.
The 2-stage NF-type equalizer and LUX NF-type tone control are used in the preamplifier section.
The left and right sides of the tone control are independent, and the bending point can be switched by two points for both low and high frequencies.
Equipped with a high filter or low filter.
Equipped with the input level setting function of the main amplifier section.
There are two speaker outputs.
Since the output impedance of the speakers can be selected for each system, the optimum load can be selected even when speakers with different impedances are connected.
