Commentary

A bulb-type pre-main stereo amplifier commercialized to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the company's founding.
It has inherited the title of 38, which is a long-seller for the past 7 models.

Williamson circuit is used for the power amplifier section.
The inverted signal is formed by PK division with little degradation of sound quality, and the output tube EL34 (6CA7) is operated by push-pull so that the total NFB is kept to a minimum.
The output tube EL34 is carefully selected from the special line of Golden Dragon. In addition, 12AU7 is used for the first stage and 12BH7 is used for the driver stage. This is an orthodox element and circuit configuration.

For the output transformer, which has a significant impact on sound quality, we have adopted the traditional OY type, which determined the reputation of Lux as a transformer manufacturer.
It uses an orient core material and has been newly designed to meet the specifications based on OY's unique split winding. This gives excellent sound quality with little phase rotation and an honest response extended to the low and audible band.
In addition, the main body of the transformer is tightly sealed and filled with fixing material. Moreover, it is housed in an iron case to completely eliminate leakage flux.

The pre-section is equipped with a custom volume control to improve the distortion and sound quality.
The tone control circuit consists of a vacuum tube 12AU7. This circuit allows more natural correction by separating the high and low frequencies.

Attention is also paid to basic parts, and consideration is given to sound quality by newly improved composite electrolytic capacitors, high-precision mold resistors, and double-sided glass-epoxy circuit boards.

Source Select can switch between line input and tape input / output independently.
In addition, if you use a 3-head deck, you can monitor recording simultaneously with the monitor switch.
In addition, the line-straight switch allows the source signal to be sent in a purer state by skipping over the monitor switch and balance volume.

In order to support CD and DAT, four line inputs are installed.
It also has a high-precision phono equalizer.

In order to secure the vacuum tube securely and to eliminate the influence of external vibration, the chassis is designed to have an appropriate weight and a rigid structure.
In addition, high-density materials are used for the side panels, and materials with different vibration modes are used for vibration control measures.
Volume control and selector switch knobs are a combination of blast finish and hairline finish.

AC inlet is used for the power cable.
In addition, polarity management is also possible by adopting the line phase sensor.
