Commentary
This is a stereo power amplifier that uses an authentic pure class A system and a very strong power supply.
Instead of using a quasi-class A system that pursues efficiency, it uses a genuine pure class A amplifier that supplies a constant bias current up to the maximum output, and achieves high power of 100W + 100W.
It uses a very powerful power supply.
The M-07 is equipped with separate transformers for each functional block, for the L/R amplifier, L/R cooling fan, and digital display. This power transformer alone accounts for the majority of the weight of the amplifier. This structure completely eliminates interference and improves sound quality.
The 9 kg power transformer used for the amplifier is hand-wound with oxygen-free copper wire without bobbin to realize super regulation. The high energy supply capability and generous output stage enable it to cope with low impedance load of 2 Ω.
It is equipped with a digital peak power meter that displays the instantaneous output change of the music signal as a peak value.
This meter can turn off the power for the entire display system and can be completely disconnected from the signal system.
A twin monolithic structure has been adopted, and the L/R is completely separated from the power cord and power transformer to the circuit board. Two amplifiers are contained in a single case to eliminate channel interference.
The bottom chassis uses high rigidity and high specific gravity is used for the bottom chassis, and together with the front panel of 18 mm extruded material and rigid wooden cabinet, unnecessary vibration is completely eliminated.
It is equipped with carefully selected ultra-quiet cooling fan independent of L/R.
This fan is designed to be safe in that it continues to turn until the amplifier cools down even after the power is turned off.
High-quality parts such as PC-OCC wiring, nitrogen gas sealed contact relay, bus bar to reduce power source impedance, and high-precision attenuator using fixed resistance are used.
The input terminal is equipped with a common coaxial type as well as a canon type.
The Canon type also supports direct balance input without using an inverting amplifier.
It can be used not only as a stereo power amplifier but also as a high-output mono power amplifier.
