Commentary

Pre-main amplifier with built-in D/A converter for digital source.

The LV 109 has a built-in D/A converter that can input digital signals from digital audio sources such as CD, DAT, and BS tuners.
The built-in D/A converter reduces the influence on the transmission system of the analog signal after D/A conversion.

The D/A converter section has an independent block design and is shielded from other circuits.
In addition, by using a method in which the clock obtained from the input is processed by a PLL circuit to form the timing pulse of a digital filter, there is no beat generation in principle.
The digital filter is an 80th-order linear-phase FIR type with 2 x over-sampling and has an attenuation of 90 dB or more at 25 kHz or more. Therefore, the low-pass filter can be used with a light attenuation.

A MOS-FET is positively used for the power amplifier section, and it is composed of a voltage control amplifier circuit using all stage FETs.
Low-noise JFET is used for the operational amplifier circuit of the first stage, and MOS-FET is used for all stages from the pre-driver stage to the final stage.

The power supply section is composed of a large-capacity transformer and a diode with high-speed switching characteristics, and is strong and high-speed.

Equipped with a line straight switch, it can jump everything except for the input selector and volume volume.
As a result, the input signal can be directly input to the power amplifier, and the deterioration of sound quality at the contact points such as the tone control and switch is improved.

The signal processing jacks allow you to connect surround processors, graphic equalizers, AV selectors and other devices. These jacks can be bypassed by switching the front panel.

In addition to the line input Route 6, it is equipped with a tape input / output Route 3 and 4 video input systems for connecting various devices.
Mutual dubbing between Route 3 tape decks is possible. Also, mutual dubbing including video between two video decks is possible.

With a built-in video buffer amplifier, the DG and DP characteristics, which affect hue, etc., are 1% / 1 °.

The LV 109 is based on the concept of a phono separate amplifier. It does not have a phono equalizer amplifier. Instead, an optional LE 109 or LE 117 can be connected to it.
