L-540
Commentary

This is a pre-main amplifier designed with the same concept as the L-570 that reproduces life in music as it is pure.

The power amplifier section adopts a pure A class system, inheriting the design concept of the M-07.
In this system, the bias current necessary for the class A operation region is always supplied, and in the region exceeding the class A operation (15W + 15W), the operation naturally shifts to the class AB operation based on the class A. Thus, the sound quality of class A and the power of class AB are obtained.

In the power supply section, the winding of the power transformer is made independent for each stage to eliminate the influence between the stages with different output levels as much as possible.

The input terminal uses a flexible switch and a nitrogen gas sealed contact relay to realize a simple multi-input circuit, shortening the signal path and improving the sound quality.

The Phono circuit consists of four equalizer amplifiers. The MC cartridge amplifier and the MM cartridge amplifier are each dedicated and independent, and the L/R is also independent.
The MC amplifier uses a super low-noise High Gm FET in parallel, and a low-noise reference voltage power supply combining constant current and constant voltage to realize a low-impedance, low-noise power supply.
In addition, by improving the bare characteristics of the MM amplifier, the total amount of NF is reduced to the same amount as that of the MC amplifier, thereby eliminating the adverse effect of excessive NFB on sound quality.

All parts, including a resistor and a capacitor, are designed to improve sound quality. In addition, we use thick wires with low impedance and carefully select materials to pursue sound quality.
In addition, in order to completely eliminate resonance of the whole construction, a 5-point grounding chassis base using high-density FRP with ceramics is adopted.

A tone compensator is with a tone compensator.

Equipped with signal processor inputs and switches for graphic equalizers, etc.

The tone compensator, monitor, signal processor and balance control can be bypassed by a direct switch, simplifying the direct connection between each input and the power amplifier without any extra contacts.

Speakers can be either A or B independently or A + B simultaneously.
In addition, the speaker selector switch is designed so that it does not pass through muting circuits, etc., to simplify the speaker selector switch.

When the recording output selector is in the OFF position, the recording output is disconnected from the main circuit to prevent deterioration of sound quality.

Equipped with a line phase sensor that can correctly match the power supply polarity.
