Commentary
The L-500X series pre-main amplifier is based on the L-500 series equipped with a single-stage amplifier, and has been improved overall with the aim of refining the ground circuit and enriching the input system.
The circuit structure is the same as that of the L-530X. The equalizer and power section are equipped with a single-stage amplifier that further refines the amplifier by developing the duo-beta concept.
In this single-stage amplification, a large current is applied to the high-gm low-noise FET input to obtain the required gain, and then the voltage amplification stage is set to one stage. This improves problems such as the adverse effect of power supply noise and the deterioration of the slew rate due to the high-frequency correction of the stagger.
In order to solve the problem of interference between music signals caused by the slight fluctuation of the ground potential, the ground circuit is refined.
First, we removed the power source reference amplifier, which was a factor of fluctuation, from the inside of the amplifier, and constructed all clean earth reference type amplifier circuits. Then, we reviewed the input / output current loops of each amplifier circuit and separated and coupled each amplifier circuit to make each amplifier circuit independent. We also devised the ground circuit pattern to fix the reference potential.
It uses a tone control that can set six turnovers in each of the high and low ranges.
This tone control uses the NFB circuit in the power section to eliminate noise and sound quality degradation.
Equipped with a four straight function to jump selector, filter and balance control.
The MC head amplifier uses a circuit configuration that uses a specially developed high-gm low-noise FET as symmetric differential push-pull.
A large E / I core transformer and a large block capacitor are used for the power supply.
Equipped with a warm-up indicator. When the warm-up is completed after a certain period of time, the indicator turns off and the circuit operation enters a stable state.
