L-501s
Commentary

This is a pre-main amplifier of the L series which introduced the technology developed in the high-grade equipment.

A large output transistor and a large heat sink are used to deliver stable energy to the speakers.
It is also equipped with a high-efficiency large EI core power transformer and a large-capacity capacitor with excellent instantaneous charge / discharge characteristics, resulting in an effective output of 70W + 70W.

The amplifier circuit uses a high-slew rate CSSC (Complementary Single Stagger Circuit) ultra-wide-band amplifier circuit with excellent broadband and instantaneous sound power.

Equipped with OD (Optimized Dual) β circuit.
In general, DC feedback is used to ensure the stability of the DC region of the amplifier. However, when a DC servo amplifier is inserted into the feedback loop, different processes are introduced only in the DC region, which causes different tone colors for each band.
The L-501s reduces dependence on the compensation circuit by improving the bare characteristics of the circuit. It achieves circuit stability and uniform sound quality over the entire reproduction band without using a DC servo amplifier, while feeding back the DC and AC regions separately.

LUX STAR circuit is adopted, and power supply line and ground line in the circuit are not shared. Each line is connected directly from the reference point to each block and signal path to form an independent loop.
This eliminates the factors that cause fluctuations in the amplification reference point due to interference between circuits and changes in signal current, thereby achieving cleaner music playback.

The speaker terminal is equipped with two systems for bi-wiring connection.
In addition, it uses a vise screw type that firmly holds the cable, and it is also compatible with banana plugs.

It has a dedicated input for MM and a built-in phono amplifier.

Motor drive system is adopted for volume and input selector.

It is equipped with functions such as loudness, subsonic filter, blade less control, mono switch and tone control.
It also has a straight-through switch that simplifies the signal path and provides more pure sound quality.

Equipped with a phase inverter, phase switching of the balance line (XLR) input is possible.

Equipped with a line phase sensor, polarity can be managed.

The headphone terminal has a dedicated relay contact for the headphone, and a headphone circuit different from the output to the speaker terminal is provided.

It comes with a remote control that enables basic operations such as power switch, input selector, volume control and muting.
The system is also equipped with a bus line that links the LUXMAN CD-Player and remote control operations, improving the overall operability of the system.
