Stereo pre-main amplifier with duo-beta circuit.

Low distortion is achieved by improving the bare characteristics of the amplifier circuit and applying an appropriate amount of NFB. In addition, DC servo realizes low frequency reproduction with damping. In addition to suppressing DC drift, it eliminates 1/f noise, flicker noise, and other ultra-low frequency noise, and eliminates low frequency distortion during speaker driving.

A highly stable discrete configuration equalizer and power amplifier completely eliminates capacitors from the signal path from the cartridge to the speakers.
In particular, the equalizer, which requires high gain, is equipped with a newly developed FET input operational amplifier to enhance the servo effect in the DC region and eliminate drift.

Not only MM cartridges but also MC cartridges can be directly connected to the equalizer.
The amplifier circuit of the equalizer uses a cascode-connected FET differential amplifier for the input and a class A single-ended push-pull amplifier for the output. As a result, bare characteristics superior to conventional amplifier circuits by more than one digit are obtained.
(In the case of the MC-2 position, the input sensitivity is 0.28 mv and most MC cartridges can be connected, but the use of the high impedance type is recommended.)

It is equipped with phono straight function which makes the DISC playback system completely independent.
When the phono straights are turned on, the input selector, recording output, balance volume, etc. are disconnected, only the DISC playback system is completely independent, and the influence of wiring and load is minimized.

The tone control is incorporated into the NFB loop of the power amplifier to simplify the signal path.
As a result, not only is the signal path simplified, but because the structure is composed of only passive elements such as resistors and capacitors, simple change characteristics without deterioration of the SN ratio are obtained.
A high-speed switching transistor with high ft (high-frequency cut-off characteristics) and low Cob (collector output capacitance) is used for the base power amplifier section for both the output stage and the driver stage.

The power supply section incorporates the characteristics of a general constant voltage circuit and a power supply circuit without feedback (stability in the DC range, excellent low-frequency braking force, sound elongation in the audible band, ability to reproduce the feeling of atmosphere, etc.), and also employs a circuit that eliminates the defects.
The basic configuration is based on a powerful, low-impedance power supply with a large transformer and a large capacitor. In the audible band, this power supply takes advantage of its characteristics and provides feedback from the low band to the DC range to enhance stability and braking force.
