Commentary
This is a pre-main amplifier that is an improved version of the L-309 and is one of the V series planned for the 50th anniversary of the foundation.
The main amplifier section uses a pure complimentary service OCL circuit directly connected to all stages of 2-stage differential-amplification by ± split power supply.
F for the driver stageTIn addition, an emitter follower circuit is provided between the output stage of class B operation and the predrive stage of class A operation so that both stages are electrically isolated, and the predrive stage is not affected by the output stage. By improving the load condition of the high-frequency range of the predrive stage and applying a light phase correction, excellent distortion factor characteristics over the entire band are achieved.
The output stage of the equalizer circuit in the preamp section consists of a push-pull circuit with an inverted Darlington connection of class A operation with a high voltage applied to it, ensuring excellent input voltage resistance.
The operational amplifier IC that drives this output stage has a high bare loop gain and has frequency characteristics close to the equalizer curve. Sufficient NF is evenly applied over the entire band, and distortion factor characteristics are improved and excellent stability is obtained.
It is also equipped with a linear equalizer that adds a slight linear slope to the frequency response.
The intermediate amplifier circuit is a 2-stage direct-coupled type, and the tone control circuit is a LUX type NF type. The tone control frequency can be selected from three positions, high and low, and the circuit can be disconnected.
The filter circuit is CR type for low cut and LC type for high cut.
The power supply section is completely separated for the class B output stage, class A drive stage and preamplifier. The filter circuit for the output stage uses two 15,000 μ F large-capacity capacitors.
In terms of design, while keeping the conventional layout almost as it is, the color tone of the panel and knob is brightened to enhance the perfection.
