CL35II
Commentary

A bulb-type control amplifier that has been improved to a higher degree of perfection.

The equalizer circuit uses the Marantz type K-K ・ NF method, which uses three stages of 3-pole tubes.
For CL35II, the input withstanding voltage at 1 kHz is 400 mV, and this has been improved by focusing on the input withstanding characteristics in the high sound range of 2 kHz or more.

The intermediate amplifier, tone control stage and cathode follower stage are analyzed to reduce the second and third harmonic distortion at the normal level (output 100 to 300 mV) to ensure linearity.

A cathode follower is used for the output stage.
The CL35II uses a unique method to provide a stable circuit in which the output voltage does not fluctuate against fluctuations in the power supply voltage.

Attention has also been paid to the power supply section to improve the feeding method to the equalizer stage and reduce the contamination of external shock noise.

LUX type NF tone control allows fine adjustment of sound quality by switching the bending point by 3 high and low points respectively.
If you don't use the tone control, you can also use the Defeat switch.

Equipped with high filter and low filter.

Equipped with a low frequency trimmer, it is possible to delicately adjust the frequency characteristics mainly in the 150 Hz to 300 Hz band where the influence of the speaker and the room is remarkable.
This circuit is installed after exiting the equalizer circuit and has no effect on the recording output.

Equipped with an attenuator.

It has a built-in headphone amplifier.

The auxiliary input terminal is equipped with a level set.

Step-up transformer insertion socket is provided on the rear panel, and step-up transformer for MC cartridge can be connected.
