Commentary
This tube type control amplifier was developed by applying the technology cultivated in transistor circuits such as duo-beta circuit and DC amplifier.
A 3-stage direct-coupled amplifier circuit is used for the equalizer circuit to obtain sufficient gain, and the output stage (third stage) is S. R. P. P. (shunt-regulated push-pull).
The S. R. P. P. has various advantages such as high output voltage, large input resistance, low output impedance, and so on, as well as canceling distortion by operating to correct non-linear operation by itself.
The flat amplifier employs a two stage differential amplifier circuit that theoretically does not generate even order distortion in a direct-coupled configuration.
In addition, a tone control is incorporated into the NFB loop of this flat amplifier to enable defeat.
Appropriate amount Duo-beta circuit with NFB and DC servo is adopted.
Two types of NFB have different roles : an appropriate NFB that further enhances the reproducibility of the mid-to-high frequency range and a DC servo that enhances the braking force in the low frequency range. These two types of NFB provide excellent playback sound over the entire frequency range.
We focus on the polarity of a non-polar capacitor, align the polarity, and apply bias to suppress the resonance of the capacitor itself.
In addition, carefully selected resistors are used for all resistors, metal-coated resistors are used for important parts, and newly developed low-noise, continuously variable volume controls are used to eliminate sound quality degradation and improve the S / N ratio.
All input / output terminals are gold-plated.
The headphone amplifier is equipped with a discrete low-power DC amplifier.
It is equipped with functions such as subsonic filter and low-cut filter, tape monitor, dubbing switch, Attenuator and signal off.
There was a wood case with a natural wood veneer finish of rosewood sold separately.
Step-up transformer for MC cartridge is sold separately.
A oxygen-free copper wire with excellent sound quality is used for the primary winding, and it is compatible with cartridges of 3 Ω to 40 Ω. The step-up ratio is 1 : 10 : 5, and the frequency characteristics are 15 Hz to 100 kHz.
