Commentary
This is the first control amplifier in Luxman that uses a GE vacuum tube.
An S. R. P. P. (Shunt Regulated Push-Pull) output circuit is used for the equalizer circuit.
This circuit uses a twin triode 7025/12AX7A with a Takamasu width-ratio, and sets an optimum operating point to improve performance.
The flat amplifier uses a 2-stage direct-coupled differential-amplifier. The first stage uses a twin triode 7028/6BK7B with a Nakamashi ratio, and the second stage uses a twin triode 7026/6CG7 with a low amplification ratio.
The tone control circuit uses the LUX system NF type, which has simple variation characteristics.
In consideration of sound quality, a vacuum tube is also used for the regulator circuit, and by using two transistors together, gain acquisition and sound quality improvement are achieved simultaneously.
