C-06
Commentary

A control amplifier that pursues faithful transmission capability and rich musical expression capability.

The C-06 is equipped with a duo-balanced amplifier with excellent balance characteristics, and the configuration is simplified by a DC amplifier with pair-balanced operation for both balanced and unbalanced inputs.
In addition, it minimizes the degradation of the negative-phase output caused by passing through a different amplifier (usually an inverted amplifier with a gain of 1) after passing through the amplifier, and achieves clearer sound quality by simplifying the signal path.

The volume is equipped with a newly developed 4-string altimemate attenuator.
This attenuator is a 4-channel 32-point attenuator that supports a balance input. By installing a separator in the center of the 4-channel attenuator, crosstalk between the L and R channels is eliminated. In addition, the attenuator is equipped with a glass-epoxy board, a gold-plated finish, a non-magnetic resistor, and a die-cast and extruded shield to improve the quality.

The power supply section is equipped with independent L/R toroidal transformers in copper-plated cases. In addition, considering the interference of magnetic lines of force from the transformers, even fuses are installed separately to prevent mutual interference.
In addition, in order to prevent spike noise generated when the first stage power supply circuit is rectified and charged, and digital noise mixed from the power supply circuit, the plus and minus windings of the power supply circuit are separated, and a noise filter with bifilar winding is inserted.

The output terminal is not only a balanced cannon connector, but also an ordinary coaxial terminal with positive (positive phase) output and negative (negative phase) output.

In addition to the line-phase sensor that can detect the polarity of the AC power supply, the voice quality has been improved by unifying the polarity of the total system. The C-06 achieves the effect of unifying the polarity because both the primary and secondary sides of the power transformer are strictly controlled for polarity.

In order to keep the signal freshness by reducing the number of contacts in the signal system as much as possible, 34 nitrogen gas sealed contact relays are used. Moreover, one relay is used only for one channel to eliminate mutual interference.

PC-OCC (single-crystal high-purity oxygen-free copper wire) is used as wiring material.
In addition, it is designed with an emphasis on sound quality by using bus bars designed to reduce power source impedance, first stage blocks with reinforced shielding, glass-epoxy boards with monolithic layout with L/R separation shielding, non-magnetic chassis and rigid wooden cabinet that eliminate the influence of noise and vibration on signals.
