Commentary

A preamplifier developed as the best line control amplifier.

The output stage has a high-output low-impedance design and achieves a maximum output voltage of 28V/4 Ω.

A balanced circuit is used for all stages.
In addition, it employs pure complimentary service pure class A operation with bipolar elements that guarantee stable high current characteristics and push-pull operation. Combined with the direct coupling configuration, excellent instantaneous power and linearity are obtained.

The volume control uses a unique resolution 16-bit level control system that drives the HC11 microcontroller with dedicated software.
The adjustment resolution of more than 300 steps and the smooth operation of the optical encoder enable high-quality volume adjustment.

The selector uses a discrete relay switching method that can minimize the signal path.

By separating the power supply section from the main unit, a sufficient power supply is secured and adverse effects on the audio circuit are eliminated.

The circuit board of the main unit is a four layer glass-epoxy board with audio lines, DC power lines, and two layers of ground. Each element is arranged in the shortest three dimensional manner, reducing interference and noise contamination.

It is equipped with a selectable unity gain input terminal, considering connection of AV processor, etc.

It comes with a wireless remote control of aluminum block machined processing.
This remote control is compatible with some operations of Kroell CD-players and power amplifiers.
