Commentary
A 46 cm cone type woofer unit developed for sound reinforcement.
Uses SFG type magnetic circuits and a 19 mm long voice coil. The edge wound copper ribbon voice coil has a maximum displacement of 25 mm and is stable even at a large input power of 600W.
The effect of vibration is reduced by adopting a large and robust new aluminum die-cast frame.
Cone paper uses a fixed edge structure reinforced with cloth to provide sufficient durability against powerful low-frequency inputs and horn loads.
Used by mounting in a bass reflex or horn load type enclosure.
